BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State men’s tennis team found out Monday afternoon where it will open the NCAA Championship and who its opponent will be. The Broncos, fresh off the 2024 Mountain West Tournament Championship, will face the 11th-ranked Arizona Wildcats Friday in Tucson for the second-straight year.

The winner will face the winner of the No. 39 Pepperdine versus No. 24 Auburn match.

This will mark the second-straight year that brothers and Boise State alumni Luke and Clancy – Arizona’s head coach – Shields face each other in the NCAA tournament. Boise State is 7-3 all-time versus Arizona.

This is the second-consecutive year that the Blue and Orange have advanced to the NCAA Championship, marking their impressive 20th appearance all-time. The Broncos are looking for their first tournament win since advancing to the round of 16 in 2009.
