COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Boise State sophomore Anna Ferguson made her first appearance among weekly award winners as the Mountain West announced its weekly gymnastics accolades for Week 10 of the 2024 season.

GYMNAST OF THE WEEK
LAUREN MACPHERSON, SAN JOSÉ STATE
Sr., Gilbert, Arizona / Perry HS
• Scored a 39.500 in the all-around, the highest total by any MW gymnast this season, to help SJSU to a second-place finish with a 196.575 against Boise State (196.800), Illinois State (196.275) and Yale (194.650).
• Recorded a first-place finish on vault with a 9.825, second-place finish on bars and floor with a 9.925 and 9.900, respectively, and rounded out her all-around total with a 9.850 on beam.

VAULT SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK / FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
MAGGIE SLIFE, AIR FORCE
Fr., Oconomowoc, Wisconsin / Arrowhead HS
• Scored a 9.850 on vault to finish second on the event in a head-to-head matchup at Clemson.
• Recorded a 9.875 on bars and floor, the highest marks by a freshman on any event in the MW last week.
• Finished the meet at Clemson in second place in the all-around, scoring a 39.425 and logging a 9.825 on beam.

BARS SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK
COURTNEY BLACKSON, BOISE STATE
Sr., Elk Grove, California / Pleasant Grove HS
• Scored a 9.950 on bars to capture the individual title and help BSU to a 196.800 victory at San José State, beating the host Spartans (196.575) along with Illinois State (196.275) and Yale (194.650).
• Also competed on floor for the Broncos during the meet.

CO-BEAM SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK

• Scored a 9.950 on floor to capture the individual title in a meet against Boise State, Illinois State and Yale.

Teams in the MW will wrap up their final regular-season meets this week prior to the conference championship at Utah State on Saturday, March 23. Utah State will be in action on Friday, March 15, facing in-state foe Utah alongside Stanford in Salt Lake City. San José State will also compete that night, traveling to Berkeley, California, for a tri-meet with the California Golden Bears and UC Davis. Utah State returns to competition on Sunday, March 17, participating in a tri-meet with MW-foe Boise State and Oregon State. Air Force punctuates the week of competition that same afternoon at Minnesota, where it will also face West Virginia and Northern Illinois.
