  • The Mountain West is celebrating its 25th season of men’s basketball during the 2023-24 campaign.
  • A record six Mountain West teams earned bids to the 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, marking the most NCAA bids in league history and the most since earning five in 2012-13.
  • The Mountain West’s six NCAA tournament bids are tied with the Big Ten for the third-most, trailing the Big 12 and SEC, each with eight bids apiece.
  • For the third consecutive season, the Mountain West has sent four or more teams to the NCAA tournament.
  • 2023-24 marks the sixth season in a row and the 21st in Conference history the league has had two or more NCAA bids.
  • UNLV is the seventh MW team to earn a postseason berth after accepting an invite to play in the NIT.

  • The Mountain West is the only conference to have all its teams finish the nonconference slate with a winning percentage above .500.

  • San Diego State senior Jaedon LeDee has been named Sporting News second-team All-American in 2023-24.
  • LeDee and Utah State junior Great Osobor are finalists for the Karl Malone Award. The Mountain West is the only conference to have multiple finalists for the Karl Malone Award in 2024.
