DAVIS, Calif. – Entering the final round of the El Macero Classic two strokes back from first place, Enrique Dimayuga put together one of the best individual rounds in Nevada Men’s Golf history, carding a 64 (-8) to win the title by three strokes with a 54-hole score of 209 (-7) and become the first golfer in program history to win consecutive individual championships.

Dimayuga’s immaculate final round performance matched the third-best single round score in Nevada Men’s Golf history; and, the senior became just one of four Wolf Pack golfers all-time to win multiple titles in a single season, in addition to being the first to win back-to-back championships.

Dimayuga helped propel Nevada to a seventh-place finish in the 18-team field at the El Macero Classic. The Pack closed out the event with their best round of the tournament, recording an impressive score of 287 (-1). Nevada completed the event with a 54-hole score of 893 (+29).

Dimayuga led the way for the Wolf Pack with an unforgettable performance Sunday. The senior’s incredible final round consisted of eight pars, nine birdies, and just one bogey. Kim recorded 10 pars and three birdies during the final round, in what was one of the premier 54-hole performances of his young career.
