COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Nevada senior Enrique Dimayuga has been named the Mountain West Men’s Golfer of the Week, while Fresno State’s Ryan Firpo is the MW Freshman of the Week.

The weekly honor is the second of Dimayuga’s career and his second straight. Firpo is being honored for the first time.

GOLFER OF THE WEEK
ENRIQUE DIMAYUGA, NEVADA
Senior, London, England/Arkansas
• Won the El Macero Classic at El Macero Country Club in Davis, California.
• Finished with a 7-under-par 209, winning the event by three strokes.
• Capped his win with an 8-under 64, matching the third-best round in program history.
• Become the first golfer in program history to win consecutive tournaments, as he also captured the Gaucho Invitational the week prior. Became just the fourth Nevada men’s golfer to win twice in the same season.
• Helped the Wolf Pack to a seventh-place team finish in the 18-team field, which also included MW programs Air Force and Fresno State.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
RYAN FIRPO, FRESNO STATE
Davis, California/Davis Senior HS
• Playing in his hometown, tied for 13th at the El Macero Classic at El Macero Country Club in Davis, California.
• Finished at 5-over 221, carding rounds of 74, 73 and 74.
• Helped Fresno State to a sixth-place team finish in the 18-team field, which also included MW programs Air Force and Nevada.
• Was the top-finishing MW freshman in the field.
