  • Predicted Finish - Third in the Mountain Division
  • Retuning/Lost Lettermen - 42/21
  • Returning/Lost Starters - 13/12
  • Key Returner - Senior QB Garrett Grayson

The Skinny – The Rams put together an eight-win campaign in 2013 and played in a bowl game for the first time since 2008. CSU concluded the year with a thrilling come-from-behind victory over Washington State (48-45) in the New Mexico Bowl, and quarterback Garrett Grayson is hoping to carry the momentum into 2014. Grayson will lead a unit that was one of six teams in the Football Bowl Subdivision to finish in the top 30 nationally in rushing (27th) and passing (30th) yards per game. Grayson threw for 3,696 yards and 23 touchdowns last year, and comes into 2014 with the potential of emerging as an All-Conference selection.

Says Grayson, on the upcoming season - "Our goal is to be Mountain West champions. We know we have to get through those guys (Utah State and Boise State). We're going to have to start fast, we can't afford to start how we started last year, me especially. We all know that, I know that. It's a challenge, we've all accepted that and we're ready to get going."
