Mountain West Well-Represented in NBA Summer League

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Several former Mountain West men’s basketball players returned to the Thomas & Mack Center for NBA Summer League action, which got underway July 11 and runs through the 21st. New Mexico will be the most represented team in Las Vegas, with five former Lobos in attendance.

o Charlotte Hornets – Josh Davis (San Diego State), Jarred Shaw (Utah State)
o Chicago Bulls – Cameron Bairstow (New Mexico), Tony Snell (New Mexico); Kendall Williams (New Mexico)
o Cleveland Cavaliers - Anthony Bennett (UNLV), Alex Kirk (New Mexico)
o Los Angeles Lakers – Roscoe Smith (UNLV)
o Miami Heat - Tyler Johnson (Fresno State)
o Toronto Raptors – Darington Hobson (New Mexico)
o Utah Jazz –Malcolm Thomas (San Diego State); Jerry Evans Jr. (Nevada) was also set to play but won’t due to injury
o Washington Wizards – Deonte Burton (Nevada), Khem Birch (UNLV)
