Mountain West Suspends Wyoming Men's Basketball Student-Athlete

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Wyoming sophomore guard Josh Adams has been issued a one-game suspension following his ejection from the Utah State at Wyoming contest on Saturday, Feb. 1. Adams was assessed the penalty for striking an opponent, in violation of MW Sportsmanship Rules 4.2-a and 4.4.1.

Adams will be prohibited from participating in Wyoming’s next men’s basketball game, which is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 5 at New Mexico.

The MW expressed appreciation for the support of the MW Sportsmanship Policy by the Wyoming administration. The Mountain West will have no further comment regarding this case.
