NFCA Announces 2012-13 All-America Scholar-Athletes

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced its 2012-13 All-America Scholar-Athletes earlier this week, and a total of 23 softball student-athletes from five current Mountain West teams were included on the list. The award is presented to any player submitted by a member coach who achieved a 3.50 grade point average or higher during the 2012-13 academic year. Boise State led the Mountain West with seven honorees, while Fresno State was represented by six individuals and San José State had five. Rounding out the group were Nevada and San Diego State and with four and one honorees, respectively.
