Seventeen MW Golfers Named WGCA All-American Scholars

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Seventeen Mountain West student-athletes were among the 664 collegiate golfers recognized for their scholastic achievements when the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced its list of 2013-14 All-American Scholars for Division I, II & III.

New Mexico led the MW contingent with five honorees, followed by Boise State and Nevada with three apiece. Colorado State and Wyoming had two representatives apiece, while San Diego State and UNLV each had one.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics, requiring a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50.
