Mountain West Announces Men's Tennis Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Fresno State senior Nikolas Papic has been named Mountain West Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played January 23-24. It is the second career MW weekly honor for Papic. 

MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
NIKOLAS PAPIC, FRESNO STATE
Senior, Santiago, Chile / Hebrew Institute/Athletic Study Center
Earned the clinching point in Fresno State’s 4-3 win over No. 65 San Francisco.
Downed the Dons’ No. 2 player Thomas Takemoto in three sets, 7-6 (7-3), 6-7 (4-7), 6-3. 
With the Bulldogs behind 1-0 in doubles matches against San Francisco, Papic and partner Jeremy Moser defeated Christian Brocksted and Ryan Marker, 6-4, to help Fresno State rally to win the doubles tally.
