COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Fresno State climbed up the latest USA Today/NFCA and ESPN.com/USA Softball Top-25 polls this week, coming in at No. 20 in both rankings. The Bulldogs (10-0) head to Cathedral City, California to take part in the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic this weekend. Fresno State challenges a pair of ranked teams in #12 Oklahoma and #7 Oregon on Friday, February 26 and Saturday, February 27, respectively. 

Joining the Bulldogs in Cathedral City will be Boise State, Colorado State, San José State and San Diego State. The Rams go up against No. 17 Missouri on February 26 and No. 25 California on February 27. The Spartans battle a pair of top-10 teams on February 27, squaring off versus No. 9 Washington and No. 8 Georgia. The Aztecs, who hold the Conference’s third-longest win streak at four, play four games during the tournament, including games against Nebraska and Stanford.  

Nevada and New Mexico both head to California to participate in tournaments. The Wolf Pack, winner of six in a row, will compete in the Santa Clara Tournament, while the Lobos play in the UC Davis Tournament. UNLV treks to the Eastern Time zone to take part in the USF Tournament in Tampa, Florida.
