COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Nevada (13-2) enters March as the hottest team in the Mountain West. After a 2-2 start to the season, the Wolf Pack have won 11 games in a row entering this weekend’s appearance at the Hornet Round Robin tournament in Sacramento, California. 

Fresno State remains ranked in the USA Today/NFCA and Softball Top-25 polls, coming in at No. 22 and No. 21, respectively. The Bulldogs (12-3) join San José State (5-11) at the CSUF Judi Garman Classic in Fullerton, California this weekend. The Spartans play No. 18 Missouri on Thursday, March 3 and No. 24 Baylor on Friday, March 4. Fresno State takes on Baylor on Saturday, March 5. 

San Diego State (10-5) and UNLV (8-8) host the San Diego Classic I and Alexis Park Resort Classic, respectively. The Aztecs open the week with a contest against No. 11 Texas A&M on Friday, March 4. Colorado State is also slated to host a tournament, welcoming a pair of non-conference opponents to Fort Collins for the Colorado State Classic.  

Boise State heads to Seattle, Washington to take part in the Husky Classic, while Utah State treks to Riverside, California and the Highlander Classic. New Mexico plays at home for the first time this season, welcoming Northern Colorado to Albuquerque for a three-game series.
