COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the fourth consecutive week, Fresno State is ranked in the USA Today/NFCA and ESPN.com/USA Softball Top-25 polls. The Bulldogs (14-5-1) are No. 24 in the USA Today/NFCA poll and No. 22 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball rankings. The Bulldogs host the Fresno State Classic this weekend where they will face No. 8 Washington in a pair of contests. San Diego State (11-7) is scheduled to join the Bulldogs at the Fresno State Classic. The Aztecs are slated to play one game against No. 8 Washington in addition to three other contests.
Nevada, which boasts the league’s top record at 14-3, are set to take part in the UC Davis Tournament on Saturday and Sunday. The Wolf Pack will go up against Stony Brook, UC Davis, Seattle and Colgate.
UNLV (10-10) hosts its fourth tournament of the season this weekend. Joining the Rebels this weekend will be Utah State (6-8). San José State (6-15) is scheduled to play No. 7 Oregon and Sacramento State on Saturday at the Louisville Slugger Invitational in Stockton, California. Boise State (4-16) welcomes Idaho State and Montana to Dona Larsen Park for the Springhill Suites Invitational.
Colorado State and New Mexico are both off this weekend.
