Fresno State and Colorado enter the week undefeated in Mountain West league action with the Bulldogs at 7-0 and the Rams at 6-0. Fresno State has one game this week on Wednesday at Wyoming, 7 p.m. MT. Colorado State travels to San José State on Wednesday at 7 p.m. PT and hosts Wyoming on Saturday at 2 p.m. MT in the first round of the 2016 Border War.

Colorado State is off to the second-best start in school history at 16-1 overall, trailing only the 1998-99 team that recorded a 31-1 record, the winningest team in the history of the Rams' women's program. The current 12-game win streak is the tied for second-longest in school history.

Colorado State is earning votes in the Associated Press Top 25 poll for the second week in a row.

New Mexico senior Khadijah Shumpert joined the 1,000 career points-500 career rebounds club on Saturday, January 23, cracking the 1,000-point career scoring mark in the third quarter against San José State. She is the 20th UNM player to score 1,000 career points and the 14th to have 1,000 career points and 500 career rebounds.

Boise State senior Miquelle Askew set a Broncos' single-game scoring record with 39 points at San José State on January 20. The previous high mark of 37 points was set in 1991.

Nevada head coach Jane Albright is just one win away from her 500th career victory. The Wolf Pack got Albright Win No. 499 on January 20 at home against Wyoming, 68-65.

Nevada's Julia Shelbourn and New Mexico's Bryce Owens are nominees for the 2015-16 Allstate WBCA Good Works Team. The team will be announced on in February.

The Mountain West Network, powered by Campus Insiders, will live stream over 190 MW women's basketball games during the 2015-16 season. Broadcasts can be viewed from links available on the 2015-16 Schedule.
