San José State senior Riana Byrd became the newest MW member of the 1,000 career-points club on Wednesday, February 3 with 17 points and eight rebounds in a 66-64 win at Fresno State. She is the 14th Spartan to reach the mark and is currently 22 boards away from grabbing 1,000 career rebounds.
Utah State sophomore Funda Nakkasoglu needs just 22 points to reach the 1,000 career-points mark. There are just eight Aggies who have scored 1,000 career points and Nakkasoglu is on pace to become the youngest player in program history to achieve the milestone.
