Wyoming senior guard Marquelle Dent reached the mark in front of her hometown fans when the Cowgirls beat Denver 75-64 on December 9. Boise State senior center Miquelle Askew picked up her 1,000th career point in an 84-77 victory over Concordia (Ore.) at home on December 13.
Nevada head coach Jane Albright earned her 100th win with the Wolf Pack on December 8, 57-51 over San Francisco State. It was also the 497th win of Albright's career.
Boise State head coach Gordy Presnell became the winningest coach in Boise State program history on Sunday, December 6 with an 89-49 victory over Portland for his 180th win with the Broncos. He passed Connie Thorngren's mark of 179-121 in her 14 seasons (1970-84).
