Mountain West Women's Golfer of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Nevada sophomore Celyn Khoo has been named the Mountain West Women’s Golfer of the Week for tournaments played from April 1-5. This is Khoo’s first career MW golfer of the month/week accolade.

Sophomore, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia/Pakuranga Secondary

  • Competed in the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic in Maricopa, Arizona, earning her first collegiate top-five placement with a third-place finish in the 110-golfer field at the par 72, 6,231-yard Ak-Chin Southern Dunes.
  • One of just three players to finish under par, carding a three-round total of 215 (-1).
  • Finished the event second in par 4 scoring, finishing those holes at three-under-par.
  • Shot back-to-back rounds under par (71) in Rounds 1 and 2.
  • Helped Nevada finish tied for fourth and aided in the Wolf Pack’s second-lowest team score of the season (888).
