Aztecs Off To Fast Start
In its first two contests of 2015, San Diego State didn’t allow a goal, while registering eight goals of its own. The Aztecs, who enter Week 2 ranked No. 22 in the Soccer America poll, blanked Utah Valley 6-0 to open the season on Aug. 21, then claimed a 2-0 road victory against No. 16 Kentucky. Freshman forward Leah Pruitt started both matches and led the team with five points (one goal and three assists) to earn Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week honors. Teammate Stacie Moran was named Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week with a single-game high two assists against Utah Valley and 180 minutes played.

Good Weekend For Aggies
Utah State enjoyed a 2-0 weekend and held both Central Arkansas and Missouri State scoreless. The Aggies topped Central Arkansas 1-0 on Aug. 21 and Missouri State 3-0 on Aug. 23.
