COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – After two weeks of Conference play, four teams are tied atop the Mountain West women’s soccer standings. Boise State, San José State, UNLV and Utah State each have nine points thanks to identical 3-1 records. Boise State, UNLV and Utah State all are at home this weekend, while San José State will play two matches on the road, including a contest versus the Broncos in Boise on Friday at 4 p.m. MT. 

All 12 matches this weekend are scheduled to be broadcast live and for free on the Mountain West Network. 

Following Friday’s match against the Spartans (6-3-3 overall), Boise State (4-8-1 overall) will host Fresno State (6-5-1, 1-2-1 MW) on Sunday at noon MT. The Bulldogs open the weekend at Utah State (7-5-0 overall) on Friday at 3 p.m. MT. The Aggies, who are 2-0-0 at home in Conference matches this season, wrap up the weekend versus San José State at 1 p.m. MT on Sunday.  

UNLV, which holds the best overall record in the Mountain West at 10-3-0, returns to Las Vegas after picking up a pair of road victories last weekend. The Rebels will challenge San Diego State (4-6-1, 2-1-1 MW) on Friday at 7 p.m. PT and New Mexico (5-5-2, 1-3-0 MW) on Sunday at 1 p.m. PT. The Lobos and Aztecs will also both face Nevada (4-7-0, 1-3-0 MW) on Friday at 6:30 p.m. PT and Sunday at 1 p.m. PT, respectively. 

Friday’s schedule also features an in-state battle between Colorado College (6-6-0, 2-2-0 MW) and Colorado State (3-8-1, 1-3-0 MW) at 3 p.m. MT in Fort Collins. Also on Friday at 3 p.m. MT, Air Force (6-4-1, 2-2-0 MW) plays at Wyoming (5-6-1, 1-3-0 MW). On Sunday, the Rams host the Falcons, while CC travels to Laramie to face the Cowgirls. Both matches are scheduled for 1 p.m. MT. 

All 12 Mountain West women’s soccer programs are fighting for one of six spots in the 2016 Mountain West Championship. The tournament is scheduled for Nov. 1-5 at the SDSU Sports Deck on the campus of San Diego State.
