Colorado State, Wyoming and UNLV remain undefeated after the first week of Conference play in the Mountain West. The Rams and Cowgirls are 2-0 with wins over Boise State and Utah State, while the Rebels are 1-0 after beating San José State on Saturday. The Spartans are one of five teams to start MW action 1-1.

For the first time since the 2009 preseason poll on August 18, there are two Mountain West teams ranked in the AVCA Top 25 poll. Colorado State extended its time in the Top 25 to 35 consecutive weeks, dropping one spot to No. 20. Wyoming entered the Top 25 for the first time since 1994 at No. 25 in this week's rankings. The MW travel partners head out on the road this week to face San Diego State and Nevada on Thursday, October 1 and Saturday, October 3. All four matches can be seen on the Mountain West Network.

The Mountain West Network, powered by Campus Insiders, is livestreaming over 160 MW women's volleyball matches during the 2015 season. Broadcasts can be viewed from links available on the 2015 Schedule.
