Mountain West Women's Volleyball Weekly Release
Colorado State earned a share of the 2015 Mountain West Women's Volleyball championship title on Thursday, November 12, with a 3-0 win over San José State. The victory extended the Rams' win streak to 16 and remains undefeated in Mountain West action at 15-0, three matches ahead of Boise State (12-3) in the standings. The Rams can win the title outright with a win at UNLV on Wednesday, November 18. Colorado State has won the last six Mountain West regular season titles, the only school in the nation to accomplish the feat.
Colorado State extended its time in the AVCA Top 25 Poll to 42 consecutive weeks, staying steady at No. 13 this week. With a share of the 2015 MW title wrapped up, the Rams will be making their 21st consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
Boise State is currently ranked No. 1 in the nation in assists per set (14.55) and kills per set (15.54). Broncos' setter Sarah Baugh ranks No. 3 in the country with 12.16 assists per set.
