Mountain West Women's Basketball Player of the Week - 12/22/14
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Fresno State forward Alex Sheedy has earned Mountain West Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honors for games played from December 15-21, 2014. It is the second consecutive MW weekly honor for Sheedy this season and the second of her career.

• Averaged 25.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game as the Bulldogs went 2-0 last week with wins at home against Bethesda (81-63) and on the road at Oregon (68-59).
• Scored a career-high 25 points against Bethesda with 19 coming in the second half with Fresno State trailing by five at the half. Grabbed seven rebounds and three steals while dishing out three assists. Also shot 52.6 percent (10-19) from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
• Matched her career-high with 25 points against the Ducks. Scored 14 in the first half, leading the Bulldogs to a 10-point lead at the break. Shot 64.3 percent (9-14) from the field and was 5-of-6 from the charity stripe to go along with six rebounds, two assists and three steals.
• As Fresno State held on to a seven-point lead with four minutes remaining in the game, contributed four more points to build the lead to 11 with 2:46 left to play.
