2014 Mountain West Women's Soccer Championship Match Set

After an exciting two days of women's soccer at the SDSU Sports Deck, the finals of the 2014 Mountain West Women's Soccer Championship are set. In a battle of the top two seeds in the tournament, No. 1 San Diego State, the three-time MW regular-season champion and two-time tournament champion, takes on No. 2 Wyoming. First tap is set for 7 p.m. PT on Saturday, Nov. 8. The Cowgirls (11-8-1) are looking for their first-ever MW tournament title, and are in the championship match for just the second time since the inception of the Mountain West. Back in 2011, Wyoming fell 2-0 to New Mexico. They topped the Lobos 2-1 in overtime on Nov. 4 in the first of two semifinal matches to earn a trip to the finals.

San Diego State enters the MW tournament final after outlasting MW newcomer Colorado College in penalty kicks. Tied 1-1 after 110 minutes of play, the two teams entered the best-of-five penalty kicks and the Aztecs squeaked out a 3-2 advantage to move on to the next round.

The 2014 Mountain West Women's Soccer Championship match will be broadcast live and for free on the Mountain West Network, powered by Campus Insiders. Head to and click on the "Watch & Listen" tab on the home page, then click on the "Watch Live" tab to watch the match.
