The Mountain West Network powered by Campus Insiders will live stream 12 MW baseball games this week. Over 125 MW baseball games will be live-streamed for FREE on the network. Every stream will be available on the Mountain West Network ( and on the institutional sites.

Mountain West action continues this weekend as Nevada travels to Fresno State. The MW’s seven teams will play 30 intra-league games to determine a regular-season champion and seeding for the 2014 Mountain West Baseball Championship, May 21-25, at Earl E. Wilson Stadium in Las Vegas.

San Diego State has an early lead in the MW race after taking last week’s series with San José State, 2-1.

San Diego State senior 2B Tim Zier recorded the Aztecs’ first four-hit effort of the season in a win against Loyola Marymount on Tuesday night. Last season Zier had four four-hit games and one five-hit effort.

New Mexico picked up a big win on Tuesday night, defeating nationally-ranked Arizona State, 7-1. It was the first win for the Lobos in Tempe since April 2, 2003.

UNLV opened the season with four straight wins for the first times since 2011 and for the seventh time in school history. Tim Chambers claimed his 100th UNLV win on Feb. 16, becoming the quicked Rebel head coach to reach the century mark (176 games).

Air Force will face Navy in the Freedom Classic in Kinston, N.C. this weekend. The Falcons hold the series lead over the Midshipmen, 18-17, and split the four-game series with the opposing academy last season, 2-2. Junior 3B Noah Pierce returns this year from a season-ending injury suffered in the Freedom Classic last season.
