The Mountain West Network powered by Campus Insiders will live stream 14 MW baseball games from April 15-22.

Last weekend’s Mountain West action brought some movement in the standings. New Mexico took over the top spot by percentage points at 11-4, while UNLV moved into second at 13-5. Nevada used a three-game sweep of San Diego State to jump into third place at 11-7. MW teams will play 30 intra-league games to determine a regular-season champion and seeding for the 2014 Mountain West Baseball Championship, May 21-25, at Earl E. Wilson Stadium in Las Vegas.

UNLV junior pitcher Erick Fedde was named to the mid-season Golden Spikes Award watch list. The Golden Spikes Award recognizes the top amateur baseball player in the nation

New Mexico junior Alex Real has been named to the Johnny Bench Award watch list. The award is presented annually to the top catcher in college baseball.

The UNLV pitching staff holds one of the top weekend rotation earned run averages in the nation at 2.02 - Erick Fedde (1.69), John Richy (2.55) and Bryan Bonnell (1.81).

New Mexico senior Josh Walker is four wins away from becoming the Mountain West’s all-time leader in victories. Over three seasons, Walker has recorded 24 wins. Kyle Winkler of TCU holds the record with 27 from 2009-11.
