The Mountain West Network powered by Campus Insiders will live stream 13 MW baseball games from April 22-30.

New Mexico (14-4) maintained the top spot in the Mountain West standings last week, while Nevada moved into a tie for second with UNLV (13-8). MW teams will play 30 intra-league games to determine a regular-season champion and seeding for the 2014 Mountain West Baseball Championship, May 21-25, at Earl E. Wilson Stadium in Las Vegas.

UNLV junior pitcher Erick Fedde was named to the mid-season Golden Spikes Award watch list. The Golden Spikes Award recognizes the top amateur baseball player in the nation

New Mexico junior Alex Real has been named to the Johnny Bench Award watch list. The award is presented annually to the top catcher in college baseball.

Air Force sophomore outfielder Spencer Draws earned national Player of the Week honors from Collegiate Baseball on April 21. San Diego State sophomore pitcher Bubba Derby earned the honor on April 7.

New Mexico senior Josh Walker is three wins away from becoming the Mountain West’s all-time leader in victories. Over three seasons, Walker has recorded 25 wins. Kyle Winkler of TCU holds the record with 27 from 2009-11.
