The Mountain West Network powered by Campus Insiders will feature 9 matches this week, starting with four MW matches on Thursday, Oct. 31.

Colorado State jumped to No. 9 in this week’s AVCA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll. It is the highest ranking for the Rams since Nov. 29, 2004.

Colorado State (19-0) is one of two teams in the nation that remains undefeated, along with Missouri (25-0). The Rams next match is Thursday, October 31 at Boise State, while the Tigers host Ole Miss on Friday, November 1.

Colorado State’s 19-0 start is tied for the second-best in program history, one win shy of tying the record set in 2001. CSU’s 12 consecutive true road wins is a program record, jumping one ahead of the previous mark set in 2003.

Air Force’s win against Nevada on Oct. 24 was the program’s first 3-0 sweep of a conference opponent since 2003. The Falcons’ .341 hitting percentage in the match is the second-best against a Conference opponent in the last decade.

Utah State’s Elle Brainard recorded a career-high 21 kills against UNLV on Oct. 26. In the same match, setter Paige Neves tied a career-best with 58 assists and libero Ashlan Rogers-Court recorded her 1,000th career dig.

The second half of MW action gets underway this week. CSU is currently in first place at 10-0. There is a four-way tie for second place between Fresno State, New Mexico, UNLV and Utah State at 7-3.
