The University of San Diego won the event with 711 points, Loyola Marymount came in second with 681 points and Pepperdine finished fourth with 210 points.

"I thought we had some really good swims, we just couldn't' make up enough ground today to beat out the other teams," said assistant swimming coach Pat Ota. "The divers did awesome today going one, two and three in the 1-meter dive. They really helped bring more points to our team total."

Junior Hannah Prigge picked up her second win of the weekend in the 1-meter dive with a score of 285.10. Stacey Luke came in second with a 268.85 and freshman Lacie Ruth rounded out the third place spot with a score of 216.15. Both Prigge and Ruth had lifetime best scores for this board. Over the two days the divers contributed an impressive 81 points to the final team score.

"Alex [Madsen] had another big day winning both her races and was also a big addition on our relay teams," said Ota. "She helped contribute a lot of points to our team today and this weekend."

Alex Madsen continued to bring outstanding races to the Beach Cup adding two more individual wins to her weekend. They came in the 100 and 200 backstrokes with times of 57.88 and 2:05.48, respectively. Yoho added another win to her weekend as well coming in the 100 freestyle race with a time of 51.57.
