Air Force Finishes Sixth Place at MPSF Championships

The Falcons had 10 times crack the school top 10 list, led by a strong showing in the 1650 yard freestyle.
The Falcons had four of the top 11 swims in the 1650 free, led by sophomore Max Evans-Nolan. Evans-Nolan placed fourth with a time of 15:24.04, which is the third-fastest in school history.
Freshman Kevin Jackson followed with a seventh place finish. His time of 15:29.62 is the fifth-fastest time in AFA history and his 1000 yard split of 9:20.95 is the sixth-fastest at AFA. Sophomore Alex Strom took eighth with a time of 15:32.03, which is 8th at Air Force and his 1000 split of 9:21.00 is seventh in school history. Freshman Robert Graves took 11th with a time of 15:43.62 and his 1000 split of 9:24.42 is eighth at AFA.
In the 200 back, senior Matt Millikin just missed the school record, placing third overall. His finals time of 1:45.81 missed the school record by .21 seconds and is second all-time. Junior Angus MacDonald followed in 10th with a time of 1:48.36.
In the 200 breaststroke, freshman Michael Barnosky placed 12th with a finals time of 2:02.53, which is eighth in school history. Senior Kaleb Jenkins placed 17th with a finals time of 2:02.46, which is sixth at AFA.
In the 200 fly freshman Sean Ledford placed 15th for the Falcons with a time of 1:50.78.
Air Force took fifth in the 400 free relay. The group of MacDonald, freshman George Frank, Martinellie and Dunne swam a season-best time of 2:59.46.
UNLV won the MSPF Championship with 613 points.
