Prigge Places 4th, Bulldogs Finish 7th

FRESNO, Calif. --- After the three-day Phill Hansel Invite, the Fresno State Bulldogs finished seventh out of 15 teams with a total of 126 points.

Junior diver Hannah Prigge performed her best dive of the invitational in the Platform dive scoring a 243.75. This was Prigge's second platform competition of the season and placed fourth out of 42 divers.

Sophomore Courtney Sheehan kicked off day three with a 15th place finish in the 1650 freestyle. This was her first 1650 freestyle race of the season and she clocked in with a 17:10.68.

In the 200 backstroke, sophomore Alex Madsen was three-tenths of a second away from breaking the school record. She swam the race in a 2:00.65 finishing 19th in the finals. In the 100 freestyle, senior sprinter Dani Yoho swam a speedy race with a 50.56.

Britney Vogel raced well in the 200 breaststroke with a prelim time of 2:23.91 and a final time of 2:28.60. Senior Rayanne Nguyen swam the 200 butterfly in a 2:11.87 during the preliminary race.

The Bulldogs concluded the invitational with the 400 freestyle relay, placing ninth out of 31 teams. Madesn, Yoho, Lucy Titchin and Brooke Fuller swam the race in a 3:25.29, a second away from the school record.

The next competition with be in San Diego on Saturday, Dec. 1 as they swim Mountain West opponent San Diego State.
