Rebels Finish Up In Missouri

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The UNLV men's and women's swimming teams finished action at the Mizzou Invitational on Saturday at the Mizzou Aquatic Center, with the Rebel women placing fourth (543 points) and the UNLV men third (711.5 points). The host Missouri squad finished atop both team standings.

After winning a total of seven events the first two days, UNLV would add one more win on the third day, as Jessica Heim placed first in the 1650 free in a time of 16:31.17. UNLV posted two more top-three finishes on the women's side, Katelyne Herrington in the 100 free (3rd), and the 400 free relay team of Rachel Dixon, Julia Fehervari, Brittany Ozar and Herrington posted a second-place time.

UNLV had two second-place swims on the men's side, Matt Roe in the 1650 free and Balint Batka in the 200 fly. Samuel Lameynardie also finished third in the 100 free.

The Rebels will return to action on Dec. 15-17 when they host the UNLV Winter Invitational at Buchanan Natatorium.
