'Dogs Dive To UCLA

FRESNO, Calif. - The Bulldog divers will travel south this weekend to compete in the Bruin Diving Invite in Los Angeles, Calif. This is the second southern California diving invite of the season that the 'Dogs will be diving at and it fields some of the best divers from across the nation.

The divers will compete at the UCLA Spieker Aquatics Center Friday, Jan. 11 - Sunday, Jan. 13. The women will compete in the 3-meter dive on Friday with preliminaries starting at 11 a.m. The top 18 finishers will move onto the finals that will be held later that afternoon.

On Saturday the 'Dogs will compete in the 1-meter dive which also starts with preliminaries at 11 a.m. and the top 18 will move onto the final round. Sunday the divers will compete in the Platform dive starting at 9:30 a.m. In this final event, the top 12 finishers will advance to the finals.

Senior Stacey Luke, junior Hannah Prigge and freshman Lacie Ruth will all be competing at the Bruin Diving Invite hosted by UCLA. For updates and results, check back to GoBulldogs.com after the meet.
