LARAMIE, Wyo. -
Two University of Wyoming Cowboy divers will compete at the NCAA Zone "E" Diving Championships beginning Thursday, at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. Sophomore Derek Campbell and Freshman Dalton Haas will compete on the 1-and 3-meter springboards as well as the platform dive.
"I am very excited to get my divers to the Zone Championships, Wyoming diving coach Pat Bukowski said. "They dove in this pool a couple times this season and I know they are very comfortable with it. I am taking them down there as a business as usual trip and hopefully they can perform well."
Campbell and Haas both secured bids to the NCAA Zone diving meet on Jan. 27 at the Air Force Diving Invitational. Campbell secured his spot on the 3-meter springboard, while Haas earned his spot on the 1-meter.
