Air Force Wraps Up Action at Stanford

PALO ALTO, Calif. - Highlighted by a career-best 800-meter time for junior Morgan Mosby, several members of the Air Force track and field team concluded action at the prestigious Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif., on Saturday, April 7.
Mosby clocked a career-best 800-meter time of 2:12.09 to finish 41st in the 800-meter run. Placing fifth in her section of the 75-runner event, Mosby moved from eighth to sixth on the program's all-time list after shaving nearly one second off of her time.
With a time of 1:51.95, sophomore Alex Lindsay won his section of the men's 800-meter run, en route to a 22nd overall finish in the 58-runner race. Senior teammate Nick White clocked a time of 1:53.46 to place 38th overall.
Junior Jeremy Drenckhahn competed in the 10,000-meter run late Friday night, finishing 22nd in a time of 29:31.44 - a mark just 0.54 shy of his personal best.
The Falcons return to action next weekend, when they travel to Boulder, Colo., for the annual Colorado Invitational on April 13-14.
