Four CSU athletes nationally ranked

FORT COLLINS, Colo.-- The Colorado State men's and women's track teams have four members who have been nationally ranked for the 2013 Indoor Track and Field preseason as of Jan. 8, 2013.
- Hannah Pensack-Rinehart - 5,000 meters
- Evan Taylor - 200 meters
- Trevor Brown - 60 meter hurdles
- Ken Harriman - weight throw
In the women's 5,000 meter run, junior Hannah Pensack-Rinehart posted a time of 16.25.57 seconds, securing her the number 25 spot in the national rankings. At the Mountain West indoor championships last season, Pensack-Rinhart took first in the 5,000 meter-run (16:52.35), taking home the Rams' first conference title.
Junior Evan Taylor, a transfer from the University of Northern Colorado, ranked number 34 nationally in the 200 meter run, with a time of 21.28 seconds. In his previous season, Taylor earned Big Sky All-Conference Track and Field honors placing 1st in the 200 meter dash while running a personal best time of 21.26 seconds.
Junior Trevor Brown posted a time of 7.88 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles, earning the number 24 spot in the national rankings. At the Mountain West indoor championship in 2012, Brown set a new MW championship record in the 60-meter hurdles, posting a time of 7.87 in the qualifying round.
Junior Ken Harriman took the number 31 spot for the weight throw in the national rankings. Harriman threw 62-9½. In the 2012 indoor season, Harriman tied for fourth place with a throw of 60-11.5 at the Mountain West indoor championships.
