Aztec Track and Field Heads to Point Loma Meet

SAN DIEGO -
The San Diego State track and field team will send 15 athletes across town to compete in the Point Loma Collegiate Meet on Saturday.
The Aztecs, who recently decided to attend the meet as a tune-up for next weekend's Cal/Nevada Championships, will join host Point Loma Nazarene and 12 other schools, including Azusa Pacific, Cal State San Marcos, Carleton, George Fox, Middlebury, Oneonta State, San Diego, Soka, The Masters, UC San Diego, Vanguard, Westminster and Whitworth.
Allison Reaser, who won the heptathlon last weekend at the Aztec Invitational, is slated to compete in the 400-meter hurdles, long jump and triple jump, while Sarah Haydock will participate in the 100 hurdles, long jump and shot put. Additionally, Hannah Carman, Megan Hughes, Sabrina Rathor and Amy Reaser will each run both the 800 and 1,500 meters.
Alexa Wallin and Hannah Winokur will compete in the 800, Josefine Koskinen and Melissa Wendorf in the 1,500, Kaitlyn Harrison and Amanda Okun in the 3,000 Steeplechase, Moriah Roberge and Rebecca Turnbow in the pole vault, and Thoraya Maronsey in the triple jump.
For SDSU, the meet kicks off with Allison Reaser (javelin) at 9 a.m. PT and ends with her in the 400 hurdles at 3:25 p.m. PT.
