He also represented TCU on both relay squads, leading the Horned Frogs to third-place finishes in the 4x100 and 4x400 races, respectively.
Blackburn, a senior from Soldotna, Alaska, was the top collegiate finisher (second overall) in the women’s javelin throw at the Arizona State Invitational, posting a career-best mark of 165’-6.00.” Blackburn’s mark is the second-best throw in program history and is just the second Falcon thrower to surpass the 160-foot mark in the javelin throw. Blackburn also finished second among collegiate competitors (fourth overall) in the discus throw at Arizona State with a career-best throw of 169’-4.00.”
Corinealdi paced TCU’s women’s squad at the Bobby Lane Invitational in Arlington, Texas, finishing first among collegiate competitors in the women’s 100-meter dash with a personal-best time of 11.60 seconds. Corinealdi returned to the track to claim third overall in the women’s 200-meter dash with a time of 23.72 seconds. She also teamed up with senior Whitney Gipson, sophomore Veronica Jones and freshman Lorraine Ugen to win the women’s 4x100 relay with a season’s best time of 44.82 seconds.
