FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State’s track and field team had an impressive showing Friday at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa Calif., and the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif.

Trevor Brown set a personal record in the 400-meter hurdles, earning a sixth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles, with a time of 51.67 seconds.

Sarah Heuer also set a personal record in the 10,000-meter run, clocking in at 35:19.88. Kendra Gerk finished the race in 35:33.79.

Kelby Dias (14.41) and Robert Wasinger (14.58) finished 11th and 16th, respectively, in the 110-meter hurdles.

Holly Keeper finished the 1,500-meter run in 4:35.04. On the men’s side of the event Alex Balsiger clocked in at 3:49.51 and Alex Muntefering posted a time of 3:55.78.

In the 3,000-meter steeplechase Christian Meyer placed 19th, finishing in 9:15.52. Kaitlin Hanenburg claimed 13th, with a time of 10:52.98.

Nicole Peters took seventh in the 3,000-meter steeplechase Olympic Development Elite race, posting a time of 10:13.22.

Alec Pott recorded a throw of 180 feet, 10 inches in the hammer throw, placing 22nd in the event.

Seth Monson claimed 31st in the 400-meter dash, finishing in 48.38.

Jeff Richmond took 36th in the 100-meter dash, posting a time of 10.82.

Lindsey Keller (14.26) and Kalie Kirk (14.71) placed 27th and 36th, respectively, in the 100-meter hurdles.

Kirk also took 33rd in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing in 1:03.30.

In the women’s triple jump, Meaghann Peak recorded a jump of 38-4, earning 15th place.

Josh McMillin finished 12th in the pole vault, clearing a height of 15-07.

Jake Schneeberger and Elizabeth Johnson led the Rams at the Bryan Clay Invitational. Schneeberger placed 13th in the discus throw (149-05) and 15th in the shot put (48-0.75). Johnson took eighth in the shot put (44-9.5) and 21st in the discus (23-10).

Jonathan Edmunds earned a second-place finish in the long jump, with a mark of 23-10.

In the high jump, Scotty Owens tied for 18th, clearing a height of 6-2.75.

Cate Brus finished 17th in the 100-meter hurdles, clocking in at 15.17.

Competition at the Mt. SAC Relays resumes at 12 p.m. MST with the men’s long jump.
