April 28, 2012
PHILADELPHIA (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV track & field assistant coach Khadevis Robinson helped the USA Blue claim the men's distance medley title at Saturday's portion of the 118th Penn Relays at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. The men's distance medley was one of six events in the 13th edition of the USA vs. the World.
Robinson, a one-time Olympian and eight-time USA champion, helped a foursome comprised of Tyler Mulder, David Neville and Leo Manzano finish first in the distance medley in a final time of 9:19.31. The Blue quartet crossed the line nearly five-tenths of a second faster than the USA Red squad (Russell Brown, Michael Tinsley, Nick Symmonds and Bernard Lagat).
Coincidentally, Robinson and Lagat are two of four members (Chris Lukezic and James Carter) that own the American record (9:15.63) in the distance medley.
