2011 USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Teams Announced

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

Six Mountain West cross country teams have been honored by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their academic success during the 2011 season.

Colorado State (3.15) and Wyoming (3.57) were among the 147 Division I men's cross country teams to receive All-Academic honors. On the women's side, Boise State (3.10), Colorado State (3.27), TCU (3.54) and Wyoming (3.17) were among 205 programs to earn All-Academic status.

To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the team must have had a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better and have started at least five regional at their respective NCAA regional championship.
