Baseball Tickets Now On Sale

Feb. 1, 2012

FORT WORTH, Texas - Coming off its sixth straight regular season championship and ranked No. 10 in the preseason, the TCU baseball season is just around the corner. Approximately 30 season tickets remain while all single-game tickets are now on sale.

Season tickets can be purchased through the TCU ticket office for $200 ($5.88 per game) for adult reserved seats and $100 ($2.94 per game) for youth reserved seats. Fans are encouraged to purchase season tickets for 2012 to guarantee season tickets for TCU's first season in the Big 12 in 2013.

TCU was ranked 10th nationally in attendance in 2011 with an average of 4,100 fans per game. The Horned Frogs return 13 letterwinners, including preseason All-American Josh Elander and seniors Brance Rivera, Jason Coats and Zac Jordan, from a 2011 squad that finished 43-19 and 20-3 in league play. In addition, the Frogs welcomed 16 new faces, a group that was tabbed as the 10th best recruiting class in the nation, to the program in 2012.

The 54-game slate features a school-record 34 home contests with 23 tilts against teams that participated in the 2011 NCAA Tournament. The season gets under way Feb. 17 at home against Ole Miss. TCU will also play host to future Big 12 foes Oklahoma State (March 2-4), Baylor (March 6), Texas Tech (March 9-11), Texas A&M (April 24) and Oklahoma (May 1).
