COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - TCU and New Mexico swept their respective series to start conference play on Sunday. The Horned Frogs beat UNLV, 15-6, while the Lobos beat San Diego State, 8 -6. In other Mountain West action, Air Force stopped a nine-game losing streak with a 7-3 win over Western Illinois.

Lobos Rally From Early Six-Run Deficit, Sweep San Diego State
March 18, 2012 - Down 4-0 after one, and 6-0 after two, the UNM baseball team refused to quit. They used an eight-run sixth inning, the most runs they've scored in an inning this season, and seven and one-third shutout relief innings to finish a sweep of the San Diego State Aztecs with an 8-6 victory in front of 1,274 fans on an incredibly windy day at Isotopes Park.
