Lobo Game Versus Nevada Postponed

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The University of New Mexico baseball team's game against Nevada scheduled for Saturday night has been postponed due to high winds and cold temperatures. A high wind warning is in effect for the Albuquerque metro area with gusts up to 60 mph possible.

The two teams will play a doubleheader at Lobo Field beginning Sunday at 11 a.m. UNM has not played a game at Lobo Field since May 8, 2011, when the Lobos defeated Air Force 16-4. It will also be the first games played on the new playing surface that was installed in the offseason.

Note: The Cowboy Night promotion scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Sunday. Fans showing up to either game of the doubleheader in their best cowboy dress will receive a ticket for $3. Fans can purchase tickets at the ticket office located in the southwest corner of The Pit.


PARKING - All fans, media, visiting teams and attendees should park in Pit West parking lot (via University Blvd.) and enter through the gate on the north side of Lobo Field. Due to construction, Baseball South is not a public parking area.
