COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - New Mexico and San Diego State moved into a tie for first place in the Mountain West baseball standings at 4-2. The Aztecs got a 5-4 win over UNLV on a walk-off hit by pitch in the bottom of the ninth to take the weekend series, 2-1. The Lobos split a doubleheader with Nevada on Sunday to win the series, 2-1. The Wolf Pack won the first game, 3-2, while UNM took the nightcap, 7-5. The final two games of the Fresno State at Air Force series were postponed a second time due to extreme cold in the Colorado Springs area. The games will be made up when the Falcons travel to Fresno State, April 19-21. Exact dates and times will be determined at a later date.

Aztecs Rallies for 5-4 Walk-Off Win Over UNLV
March 24, 2013 - Sometimes it's best not to try to figure out the game of baseball and just enjoy the moment when things go your way. San Diego State had its struggles much of the game Sunday afternoon against UNLV before rallying in the ninth inning for a 5-4 walk-off win at Tony Gwynn Stadium. The victory enabled the Aztecs (4-2, 12-12) to win the Mountain West Conference series against the Rebels (2-4, 17-7) and remain atop the conference standings. [READ MORE]
