COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - New Mexico (35-18, 25-5 MW) earned the 2013 Mountain West regular season baseball title and enters the MW Baseball Championship as the No. 1 seed. The Aztecs are 27-24 with one tournament title (2000) in MW postseason play. The Falcons are making their first appearance in the tournament since 2006. Air Force is 3-14 in seven MW appearances. SDSU won the 2013 series with Air Force 4-2.
Host Fresno State (21-31, 14-16) earned the No. 4 seed with a series win against No. 5 seed Nevada (24-30, 11-19) on the last weekend of the regular season.
