2013 Recruiting Class Ranked No. 20

FRESNO, Calif.  – Collegiate Baseball unveiled its annual evaluation of Division I baseball recruiting classes Tuesday, and the Bulldogs claimed a spot in the Top-20 for the second consecutive year. This year they announced Fresno State as the 20th best recruiting class in the nation. The newcomers join a program that has enjoyed unparalleled success, as it has claimed seven straight WAC titles. The new class will have it chance to make its own mark as the ’Dogs will move to its inaugural season in the Mountain West.

All 13 athletes in this year’s recruiting class hail from the state of California, highlighted by four of whom who hauled in All-State honors in June (Borst, Quinn, Russell and Wiechec).

Tim Borst, RHP, Taquitz High School (Hemet, CA.)
Height: 6-0, Weight: 190 (R/R)
• Recorded an 8-2 record with one save, a 2.87 ERA and 97 strikeouts over 68.1 innings of work in 2011
• Batted .317 with 18 RBI in 2011
