• Chase Tapley's game-winning shot was the Aztecs' first since Jamaal Franklin hit the game-winner vs. Boise State in the quarterfinal game of the Mountain West Conference Championship last season.

• Tapley's game-winner was his first of his career.

• The home game-winning shot was the first since Jamaal Franklin hit the game-winning driving lay-up with 0.3 seconds left to beat UNLV last season.

• The Aztecs snap a six-game losing streak when trailing with five minutes to play. It marks the first time SDSU has accomplished the feat this season.
