LONG BEACH, Calif. --- Junior Tyler Johnson scored a career-best 19 points to lead the Fresno State men's basketball team past Long Beach State 64-59 inside the Pyramid on Monday night.

Fresno State (4-3) took advantage of a strong second half that featured a 15-8 run to give the Bulldogs their first lead of the game when Johnson drilled a 3-pointer for a 40-39 lead.

The win marked the third road win for the 'Dogs this season.

Fresno State returns home for a Thursday night game versus San Diego Christian at 7 p.m. PT at the Save Mart Center.
