No. 24 UNLV Hosts Chicago State Thursday

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -

After having its nine-game win streak snapped at North Carolina on Saturday, the No. 24 UNLV men's basketball team returns home to the Thomas & Mack Center for two games this week. The Runnin' Rebels will face Chicago State on Thursday, Jan. 3, and then host CSU Bakersfield on Saturday, Jan. 5. Both games will start at 7 p.m. PST.

Thursday's contest will be televised on Vegas TV (KTUD-TV) through a partnership with UNLV-TV, a media unit of the Hank Greenspun School of Journalism & Media Studies. David Briggs and Ray Brewer will call the action on the TV broadcast, while Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the UNLV radio call, which may be heard live in Las Vegas on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM and online at UNLVRebels.com through the subscription-based All-Access feature. The television broadcast will also be streamed live through the website.

UNLV leads the all-time series with Chicago State 2-0 with the last meeting taking place in 2001. Tickets for this week's games start as low as $15 if purchased in advance.
